Does anyone know of a supplier of Ecco 1500, Renovex II or other known brand of lubricating film cleaner in the UK? Thanks for any help.

Oh go on, please, let me in on it. There must me someone from the UK who cleans/lubricates their films surely? Filmguard will cost me ?45 inc. delivery here. Classic Home Cinema does 'cresclean' but no-one seems to have heard of it. Widescreen-centre's cleaner doesn't lubricate (their words). Any comments welcome even if it's to tell me to clear-off and stop posting. Thanks for any help.

I'm going to need to clean film soon, also. Please post any sources of cleaner here for those of us in the UK. Thanks

There is a reference to a product called "Thermofilm" in the 1997 issue of International Movie Making. LGP Cine, 231/233, Imperial Drive, Rayners Lane Harrow, Middlesex HA2 7HE Tel: 0181 868 0206 had it advertised. I have not called them about it.

Filmrenew is available in Germany now from Daniel Wittner Kinotechnik. I don't know where you can get it else in Europe.

    Thanks mcarter4121!
I'll look into those links. Jack-Row is the one that quoted over ?45 inc. delivery which is far more than I want to pay for the small amount of films I have. These are all old films I'm transfering rather than an on-going thing.
    Thanks again.

    More ideas always welcome.
